Work-Based Learning
WORK-BASED LEARNING
Work-Based Learning (WBL) Placement is to provide a realistic work site learning experience for the student. Emphasis is put on learning work related skills, developing employability skills and exploring the placement as a possible career field. Students may become involved in WBL programs by enrolling in Technical Education Programs that offer these placements. Health Occupations II and Marketing II & Entrepreneurship programs offer WBL as a second year student. All other Tech Center programs offer WBL to second year program students on an individual basis.
