Marketing I

Prerequisite:  None

This course covers the basics of Marketing Sales and Services.  Students will learn all aspects of running a small business, including customer relations and employability skills.  In addition to marketing course work, students will experience operating a business through the hands-on operation of our school store.  Students can qualify for 4 college credits with Bay de Noc Community College.

Marketing II & Entrepreneurship

Prerequisite:  Marketing I

This course is for students who have completed Marketing I.  This class will cover advanced marketing and entrepreneurship curriculum including leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.  Site-based learning will also be an integral part of the class.  Students will spend two days per week in the classroom and three days per week at a work-based learning site.  This unique arrangement will allow students to learn marketing and entrepreneurship skills from business and industry partners in our community as we currently have more than 100 sites students may choose from.  Students can qualify for 4 college credits with Bay de Noc Community College.
