"We believe in working cooperatively with local school districts and the community to provide appropriate technical programs and services. Our students will learn technical skills and behaviors which will help them achieve their maximum potential relative to securing employment or completing post-secondary educational opportunities."

The Dickinson-Iron Technical Education Center first opened its doors in the fall of 1976. Enrollment at the Center has averaged approximately 500 students per year for 26 years, resulting in over 13,000 students from our community taking advantage of the technical training provided by our school.

Many graduates further their education with two year technical degrees or four year bachelors degrees. Some take their skills to the military, while others enter directly into the workplace following graduation.
