Message from the Superintendent...

The Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District is proud to serve as “Your Partner in Education.” The start of a new school year is always one of excitement and anticipation. A common aspect prior to the start of the year is that students, parents, teachers, support staff, and administrators are all asking the same question... “What will the year be like?” Each member of the educational “family” is critical to offering the opportunity for that question to be answered in positive terms.

For a positive outcome, students, parents, teachers, support staff and administrators need to individually and collectively engage in the true and authentic process of life-long learning. Learning and growing in their respective skills, abilities and knowledge occurs through a constant cycle of experience and practice, critical thinking, adaptation and assimilation. Age, position, or prior experience does not negate the need to approach every new school year with a fresh set of positive attitudes, ideas and enthusiasm.

The Dickinson-Iron ISD staff is here to partner with area school districts, teachers, parents and students through our array of professional development, technical support and program offerings. I personally would like to invite you to find out more about our programs and services and how we may be able to help you answer the question, “What will the year be like?” with the answer, “The best year ever!”
